We looked into this claim and found it\u2019s just not true. No government agency, school, or any legit group has said a word about this program. Usually, you\u2019d see announcements like this on official sites, in the news, or through press releases\u2014but there\u2019s absolutely nothing out there about this one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The link<\/a> in the message does not go to any official government or school site. Instead, it takes you to a sketchy platform that looks like it\u2019s just trying to grab your personal information and there\u2019s no contact details or social media linked to the site\u2014another big red flag that something\u2019s off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To verify the authenticity of the website, we looked up the domain to see when it was registered, and it turns out the site was created on October 4, 2023<\/a>. That\u2019s pretty odd for a program claiming to be this big. Using the Wayback Machine<\/a> to examine the website\u2019s history, we found that its first archived snapshot was taken on August 03, 2024, when it claimed to be offering laptops for a “2024 program”. They\u2019ve now updated the site to say it\u2019s for a 2025 program. Seems like they\u2019re just changing the year to keep the scam alive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The analysis showed that the site is flagged as unsafe, with BitDefender<\/a> a respected security firm, identifying it as unsafe as well and also the message says some students have already gotten their laptops, but we couldn\u2019t find any real proof, no photos and no testimonial making it hard to believe that claim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
